In-Line Skating

Last week the whole school rushed into the hall at lunch to see four skaters talk about what they do and why they were here. Artyom got chosen to go up and put a pair of speed skates on and try to skate around in them. One girl/lady came up and did a few spins and twirls that were very impressive. Then one of the boys/men came up and showed us an ice hockey stick and everybody got to feel how light it was. He also could flip the ice hockey stick without the hockey puck falling off, but he said that about ten out of one hundred people could in New Zealand that he had met. At the end Artyom came back up and showed us how much he improved. At first Artyom kept on falling over and everybody was laughing.

  1. There wasn't much detail but it was still a pretty good recount.

  3. That was quite good Abby! I think it had a lot of good description. I liked the parts about Artyom and the girl/lady the best.

I think that was a really good recount even though it was brief.
I wonder what Artyom will say about that last line.
